My latest project..... FINISHED!!

I found this lady who made a quiet book on her blog...I thought it would be fun to make one for my kids, even though I have never really sewn a big project like this before.  I had no idea where to start..but glad to say I think it turned out pretty good.  I did a lot of different pages so I made 2 books out of them but the other book is not quite done.....pics to follow once I finish that one.


The front...still deciding what to put on the front

velcro the lights and drive the cars...kayden loves this page

snap the ballons on and button the flowers

This cooking mitt is made to fit kaydens hand...you put the cupcakes in the oven and cook them lol

Mrs potato head, all her parts go in the pocket...Mr potato head is in the other book

velcro the shapes to match

The back...I made a little pocket for any loose pieces so they dont get lost

That is so cute. I have one and I want to make it so bad but I don't have a sewing machine yet. Did you use felt and stuff like that or fabric?

Thanks Mills.. It was soo much fun!! I cut out my own patterns and used mostly felt for everything but I used fabric for a few things.
