Good Samaritan

Kyler came home from school today and said that he gets to walk this girl home from school everyday with his teacher. I asked how come and he said "because she is handicap." I asked why he got to do it or how his teacher picked him. He responded, " I volunteered." He told me that his teacher asked if anyone took the cat walk ( a short cut by our house) home, and would be willing to walk this handicap girl. Kyler raised his hand and volunteered. How sweet is that!! My little boy is growing up so fast, I guess I cant call him little anymore but I cant believe how much is maturing. I thought it was cute, so thought I would share. I will update with some cute pics of boys soon.

Family Moose Outing

Well we started off our camping trips a little late this year but made up for it by going 3 or 4 weekends in a row. This trip was an adventure. It was not very packed at all and we were thinking maybe its cuz kids are still in school....we totally forgot Kyler had school. It still felt like summer. So he missed a day of school to go camping with the family and he was not very happy about it at first lol. We told him it would be the first and last time lol I still cant believe I forgot he had school, I was there when he got out to pick him up before we went camping. Duh! Anyways, we were trying to find our camp site and some guy told us there was a moose. We parked and went to take some pics. Very cool. The next morning we were tubing down the creek and I told ty it would be way crazy if we saw the moose again. Next thing ya know we were all jumpin off our tubes before we ran into the moose. It was scary but very neat!! We had a lot fun. We hiked up to this cave and inside it was full of water up to our knees. Once you got in there yiou could see out the top it was pretty cool. We are hoping to go up to tipanogus cave one of these weekends before its too cold. Ill post pics if we do.

This moose was about 20 ft. when we were tubing down the water! We saw him a couple times while we were camping. Very cool!! He was sleeping in the bushes right next to some peoples tent that we talked to. Glad it was not ours, lol

So last weekend we went camping at a place called South Fork, our new favorite place. We got a spot right by the creek and found out you can go tubing down it so next time we are bringin tubes for sure. Anyways heres a few pics of our trip.

Tree House Fun

So went to the treehouse today. We havent been there for a while so it was something fun for a change. They have a pretend cow that you can milk. It has water that squirts out of it kinda fun and they also had a pretend sheep that kayden loved. Here are some cute pics.

We went to church today and then went on a family bike ride and on the way we saw a field of little goats. Kayden loved them he was so excited so we let him and Kyler feed them some grass it was lots of fun!

Its been a while..

So I ended getting swine flu and was flat in bed (literally) for a week straight. I was not up for more then 15 min each day and barley ate. It was awful. Anyways, Im better now and decided to catch up since its been a while. I dont really have anything in particular to write about so Im just posting some random pics. You have to watch all of the 2nd video I posted its so cute, Kayden is hillarious.

Cruise to Catalina

Where to begin... We had booked this a few months out so that we could go before we would need to get passports. Orginally we were booked to go to Ensenada. We thought they were going to cancel it because of the swine flu that was going around. 3 days before we were going to leave we got an email saying the itinerary was changed, everything was the same except instead of going to Ensenada we were now going to Catalina. We were very excited!! So the road trip began wednesday night, the 6th. We left at 7:30pm and stopped in St. George around 11:30 to sleep. We slept till 3:30am and then headed off again. We actually made really good time we had the time change in our favor also so we got there about 10am. We were able to check into the boat and get lunch around 11:45 and then we got our room. Kyler had a blast. He played mini golf, swam, played ping pong, basketball. There was so much to do for him, they had the camp carvnival for kids where he got to go play the playstation, airhockey, bingo explode volcanos and lots more with all the other kids his age. He really liked that. Kayden on the other hand hung out with us the whole so it made it hard for us to do anything unless we paid for him to be babysat. But... Kyler had fun so that was good. He loved that you could get ice creams whenever you wanted and eat all you want. lol Anyways.... we brought my camera, however, the LCD screen didnt work so I could not see what we were taking pics of and then it just quit working. We were going to buy a camer a on the ship but they only had two brands and we didnt know how good of a deal they were so..... I have pics but they are from my phone, lol ya most of them turned out ok but some are kinda hard to see. Anyways hope you enjoy lol
